Teaching Experience: Philippa is an experienced GDL, SQE and LPC tutor and a practising private client solicitor. She regularly lectures on GDL, SQE and LPC courses, both online and in person, and combines deep academic knowledge with hands-on legal practice.
Philippa works closely with students to explain the format and assessment criteria of each exam, develop bespoke study plans, review content, explain areas of complexity and give feedback on mock exam performance. She regularly leads mock advocacy and interviewing exams and gives detailed advice to help candidates build confidence and refine technique. Her approach to teaching places a strong emphasis on tailored, structured support and focuses on helping candidates achieve exam success.
Philippa's teaching areas are: Wills and Administration of Estates, Solicitors Accounts, Professional Conduct, Legal Services and Contract. Philippa also offers mock SQE2 interviewing and advocacy sessions with students.
