Teaching Experience: Michael is a pupil barrister at a top Commercial Chancery chambers. He is also a Visiting Lecturer in Law at UCL, teaching LLB company law and trusts. His academic record is excellent, having achieved a First on the LLB and a Distinction in his LLM in Corporate Law. He also scored the highest grade in several modules, including Trusts, Jurisprudence, Public International Law, and Corporate Finance.

Before commencing his pupillage, Michael completed several highly competitive work placements. He has been a Judicial Assistant at both the Court of Appeal and the High Court (Chancery Division). He worked on a range of commercial cases, including Barton v Morris (contract law, restitution) and McGaughey v USS Ltd (company law, trusts). Michael was also the Legal Assistant at Keating Chambers, where he assisted senior barristers with high-value construction disputes, including in arbitration and adjudication. In his spare time, Michael volunteers at the FRU.

Michael is available to provide quality tutoring in a range of private law subjects, including contract, equity and trusts, and company law. He has been published in leading law journals in these areas, including Trusts & Trustees and the Business Law Review.

Michael is especially competent at providing advocacy training for the Bar Course and mooting, as well as mock interviews and mentoring for pupillage applications, scholarships, work experience, and university. His most recent mentee secured a pupillage at a leading commercial set. He has also been awarded prestigious scholarships from UCL, Gray's Inn, and the Commercial Bar Association.
