Teaching Experience: Dr. Usman possesses over 17 years of expertise in private law tutoring, with his doctoral research delving into corporate personality and accountability through an interdisciplinary, multi-jurisdictional lens. His extensive experience not only spans private law tutoring but also over a decade of providing legal education and career consultancy, where he has not only guided aspiring lawyers into some of the most prestigious law undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the UK and the US but also toward securing coveted training contracts and vac schemes. A standout in his academic journey, he earned a distinction in Company Law during his LLB at the University of London and continued to excel during his LLM at UCL, where his research in corporate law was also awarded a distinction. During his LLM in Corporate Law at UCL, he focused on modules such as Legal Aspects of International Finance, International and Commercial Trusts Law, International and Comparative Secured Transactions, and Cross-Border Mergers & Acquisitions. Driven by his passion for teaching, Dr. Usman has completed multiple programs in addition to his legal qualifications, including Oxford University’s Effective Online Tutoring Course, the UCL Student Mentoring Scheme, the NTU Teacher Training Course, Delivering Effective Learning, Teaching and Assessment Course at NTU and the UCL Programme for Law Teachers.
